  • Young Engineers – a site with lots of information about engineering for young people with competitions and a network of local clubs.
  • The Institution of Engineering and Technology – the organisation for professional engineers, this site has vast amounts of detailed information about all the branches of engineering.
  • BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT – the organisation for professional IT people. If your interest is in the range of engineering careers that are found in the IT industry then this site has lots of information.
  • The Institution of Mechanical Engineers – if you prefer mechanical engineering then this is the site for the profession and has more detailed information for you.
  • The Arkwright Scholarship Trust – encouraging 15 and 16 year olds into engineering, technology, maths and science.
