- The Institution of Engineering and Technology – the organisation for professional engineers, this site has vast amounts of detailed information about all the branches of engineering.
- BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT – the organisation for professional IT people. If your interest is in the range of engineering careers that are found in the IT industry then this site has lots of information.
- The Institution of Mechanical Engineers – if you prefer mechanical engineering then this is the site for the profession and has more detailed information for you.
